Each Ritual stick is designed for a different kind of player. We don’t make one generic ‘hockey stick’. There’s a stick for low-bow performance and another for drag flick specialists. Some are built for power, others for precision. It’s about choosing a stick that suits your game.
Our most highly requested model, designed for ball control and 3D skills. The Velocity features a late curved design, with 240mm bow point and 24mm bow height. Perfect for all positions.
We designed the Ultra for elite players looking for an extreme bow. It’s shaped to the maximum allowable FIH specifications, with an ultra-low curve (200mm bow point), tapered base and acute, 24mm profile.
We modelled the Finesse on our Velocity stick, but with a slightly thinner 30mm handle and classic head shape. It’s lighter and more nimble than the standard model. Good for players with fine touch.
The Specialist is a purpose-built drag flick stick. The low curve and moulded scoop help to guide the ball through the entire flicking action. It features an acute, 24mm profile.
Built for upright players. It’s got a mid-curve design and thicker handle. The rectangular sides and full depth headshape create a larger hitting zone, plus a mid-shaft bow point of 300mm.

The world’s best hockey sticks require the world’s best materials. Our blades are built from a combination of Kevlar, fibreglass and Japanese carbon fibre. We even designed a custom resin system. When it comes to hockey sticks, there’s no substitute for quality.
KEVLAR
Our composite Kevlar is manufactured in the Netherlands (and widely
regarded as the best in the world). We use Kevlar on all high impact areas, especially the backhand zone and the bottom of the head. Kevlar has incredible abrasion resistance, which increases your stick’s overall durability.
FIBREGLASS
Our top-of-the-line sticks use premium Japanese carbon fibre, but fibreglass is a more affordable alternative. It’s a little heavier than carbon, and doesn’t have the same level of feel and precision, but it’s still tough as nails. We use composite fibreglass
in combination with Kevlar on high wear zones, like the base of the head.
CARBON FIBRE
Carbon fibre is, quite simply, the best material for making hockey sticks. There is no substitute. Each Ritual stick is patiently built from up to 20 layers of high quality, Japanese carbon fibre. This allows us to increase a stick’s strength while decreasing its overall weight. It’s why our blades have such a precise and intuitive feel.
There’s no getting around it: carbon fibre is expensive. Premium materials often carry a premium price tag, and we source our carbon from aerospace manufacturers in Japan, widely regarded as some of the best in the world. It’s part of our commitment
to make the finest high performance sticks on the market.
Ritual sticks are built from various ‘grades’ of composite carbon fibre. The grade is determined by the amount of resin inside the composite, which also affects the stick’s tensile strength and stiffness. The less resin, the higher the grade, the stronger and more responsive the stick will be.
As tensile strength and quality increase, so does the cost of materials. This is why we like to use a range of carbon fibre in our Ritual sticks. We build up each stick using multiple layers of carbon, optimising tensile strength, stiffness and weight at every step.
You can use the chart below to see how this process works for each Ritual series. For example, the Origin 95 series features 20 layers of carbon, while the Origin 75 series features only 15. Every design is tweaked for the purpose of the stick and specific directional loads. Every stick is subtly different. There’s no such thing as a carbon copy.
